Program Dates: June 23-July 5, 2014

Program Description:  Join the Northwest Wine Academy’s faculty led trip to Spain and Portugal Summer 2014. Spend 13 days exploring the wine, culture and country of Spain and Portugal. The tour begins in San Sebastian, in the Basque country and will weave throughout Spanish wine country ending with a few days in Portugal. Visit vineyards, wineries, and tasting rooms in Spain and Portugal’s wine country. 

Course Credit: Course credit available to interested students. 1-2 Advanced Wines of the World course credit optional. If you are interested in this option contact Regina Daigneault at Regina.Daigneault@seattlecolleges.edu for more information. Tuition fees and separate enrollment form applies. 

International Programs Scholarship: If you are an enrolled SSCC student you are eligible to apply for the International Programs scholarship. See attached form for application or email southstudyabroad@seattlecolleges.edu for application. Applications due March 15, 2014. 

Program Cost: 1,900 Euro for double occupancy or 2,535 Euro for single occupancy rooming (this includes application fee and deposit) 

Application deadline and deposit due:March 15, 2014 $250 deposit required

Final Payment due: June 1, 2014

Application Instructions:

  1. If you are not already a SSCC student you will need apply online and get an Student ID number. You can do that at: 
    http://www.southseattle.edu/enrolling/steps-to-enroll.aspx 
  2. Complete Program Application and Registration form(registration form can be found at registration or at RSB 11 International Programs office) and drop off at RSB 11 International  Programs Front Desk. 
  3. Pay $250 Deposit at Cashier’s Office in RSB 40. with deposit slip. Deposit due March 15, 2014. 
  4. *Optional: Complete Scholarship application and turn into RSB 11 International Programs or e-mailed directly to southstudyabroad@seattlecolleges.edu.  Due March 15, 2014. Scholarship applications requires two  recommendations, these forms can be sent in with rest of application or can be e-mailed directly to southstudyabroad@seattlecolleges.edu.
  5. Pay final program balance at cashier’s office by June 1, 2014. 
  6. Attend pre-departure orientation. Time and location TBD.
