START: New Student Orientation
New student orientation provides an overview of programs and services, and the opportunity to meet with an advisor in a small group setting and register for courses online. Participation in orientation is required for all new students entering degree, certificate or college transfer programs. You can attend one of the sessions by signing up at the Advising/Info Desk (206) 934-6684, or by registering online.
Be aware that if you are pursuing a program in Nursing or Culinary, contact the respective division for additional program specific information sessions.
The following student groups are not required to attend the new Student Orientation because their programs have specialized orientations:
- Career Link
- Continuing Education
- International Students
- Non-credit ABE, ESL, and GED
- Completed Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
