Unofficial Transcripts and Grades

Unofficial transcripts are used by students to see their grades each quarter and to review their entire academic record at SSCC. To view your unofficial transcript

Transcripts

Transcripts for current students and alumni are available online and from the SSCC Registration and Records Office.

NOTE: Official Transcripts will not be processed if the student has an outstanding obligation, financial or otherwise.

Ordering Official Transcripts can be done by following one of the options below:

  • Online
  • Fax or Mail
  • In-Person

Online

South Seattle Community College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to process online transcript requests and payment. Online transcript requests carry an additional ordering fee of $2.25, plus the normal $4.40 per transcript. Fees must be paid with a credit card.

The National Student Clearinghouse website directs you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees as follows:

  • Order as many transcripts as you like in a single session.
  • Order anytime, day or night
  • Track your order ….
  • Complete the Paperless Consent to Release form. The completed form must be signed and is required before orders are processed and credit cards charged.

Fax or Mail

    Include the following information in your letter of request:

    • Student ID or social security number
    • Approximate dates of attendance
    • The name and address where transcript is to be mailed
    • Payment: check, money order or charge card number payable to SSCC. If paying with credit card, include a completed Credit Card Payment Form. The fee is $4.40 per transcript.
    • Your signature is very important! Requests without your signature will not be processed

In person

  • In-Person: Come to the Registration Office in the Robert Smith Building. (see RSB map.)

NOTE: Please expect a longer than usual processing time during peak times which are at the end and beginning of each quarter. During peak times transcripts orders can take up to 7 days to process.

Transferring Credits to South /Transcript Evaluation

New students at South who have attended other colleges or universities may have their transcripts evaluated for transfer credits. As soon as application to SSCC in a specific program is made and transcripts from other institutions are received, an Incoming Academic Transcript Evaluation application may be submitted.

Replacement Diplomas

Follow these instructions to order replacement diploma(s). Each diploma costs $10. Diplomas can either be picked up or mailed and are usually available within one week after your order is placed.

  • Fill out the Replacement Diploma Application, a PDF file.
  • To apply by mail, attach a credit card payment form, money order (in US Dollars) or a check made payable to South Seattle Community College.
  • Mail application and payment to:

  • To pay in person, go to the Cashier's office, in the Registration Area, in the Robert Smith Building. (RSB map)
