SID and PIN Overview
To access student records and online services, you must have a valid student identification number (SID) and pin number (PIN).
SID - Student Identification Number:
The college assigns a 9-digit student identification number to every student who enrolls at South. Effective Winter Quarter 2012, new students may use the same SID assigned by another Washington community or technical college. Students must provide their correct social security number to use this option.
PIN - Personal Identification Number:
Your initial PIN number is established by the college and is your birthdate in MMDDYY format (April 27, 1980 = 042780). For enhanced security, your PIN number can be changed.
Lost or Forgotten SID or PIN?
Please bring valid photo identification to the Registration Office or complete and submit the Request for Student Identification Number form.
