SID and PIN
Using your Student Identification Number (SID) and Personal Identification Number (PIN), you may perform a variety of tasks online using a secure server. (See the complete list of Online Services.)
SID - Student Identification number:
The college assigns a nine-digit Student Identification number (SID) to every student who enrolls at South. (Prior to April 2002, social security numbers were used as SIDs.)
PIN - Personal Identification Number:
The college sets up your birthdate as your first PIN. Your PIN is activated the day after you first register.
When you use your PIN it must be entered as a six digit number. (For example, if your birthdate is May 5, 1976 you would type 050576 as your PIN.)
We strongly encourage you to change your PIN for greater security using this online application Change Your PIN Number.
