 South Workshops

During winter quarter, counselors will be offering a number of workshops and all students are invited to attend.

Counselors are faculty who help students identify and achieve their educational, career and personal goals.  Counselors are available for individual appointments and also offer a variety of student workshops.

Math Phobia/Anxiety and How to Achieve Math Success

Do you fear math?  Do you avoid math?  Do you perform poorly with math? If you would like to learn how to improve your math performance and grades, please attend this important workshop.  You will learn how to experience success with mathematics.

Ever wonder why some assignments or activities may be more difficult than others?  Or why the things that are easy for you may be more difficult for other individuals.  It may have to do with your personality and the preferences you develop in how you learn.  This highly interactive workshop will get you exploring how you learn best and will provide you with some tools to take with you.
