Beginning the 6th week of the quarter, your web registration appointment time will be ready for viewing. Returning students may check online for their registration time for the following quarter. Your registration time is determined by the total number of credits earned at South Seattle Community College. Credits transferred in from other institutions are not factored in. You may register on or after the designated date and time, but not before. Returning students may register online or in person at the Registration Office.
New students register for their first quarter in person or as distance learners. Beginning the 6th week of the quarter, new students may check online for their registration time for the following quarter.
Veteran Priority Registration
Washington State House Bill 1109 2013-14 requires that institutions of higher education offering an early course registration period for any segment of the student population must also offer early registration to eligible Veterans and National Guard members as follows:
- New students who are eligible Veterans or National Guard members and who have completed all of their admission processes must be offered an early registration period.
- Continuing and returning former students who are eligible Veterans or National Guard members and who have met current enrollment requirements must be offered early course registration among continuing students with the same level of class standing or credit as determined by the attending institution and according to institutional policies.
- Eligible veterans or National Guard members are defined in RCW 28B.15.621.
