Short-Term Training is two -fold. We (at Worker Retraining) form partnerships with a number of organizations who have an interest in hiring people trained in our programs. For example: Bank of America has interviewed many students in our First Step course and offered them positions.

Short-Term Training is a partnership that considers for employment those applicants trained in a particular program funded by the State of Washington. Assessment testing will be required prior to enrollment. For more information on different funding sources, see this financial assistance overview (PDF 24KB).

The training options consist of job skills programs (most 12 weeks or less in length, some 6 months long) that lead to specific careers or jobs. For more details see the current list (PDF 221KB) of training programs ~ start dates, program descriptions and orientation times.
