Northwest Wine Academy ~ Wine Technology
Program Information | Class Schedule | Steps to Enrolling | Contact Information
This program is a first in Western Washington and complements our well regarded and award winning Culinary Arts program. We offer three certificate programs. Eventually these options will be expanded to offer degree programs with transferable credits to four-year institutions.
The wine classes are designed to educate and inform individually, for students who are just getting a start in the wine industry or professionals who need information on current trends and to enhance their skills. We offer one class or a series of classes towards attaining a certificate in winemaking, wine marketing and sales, or food and wine pairing.
Begin your career in the wine industry, expand your marketable skills as a professional in the wine or hospitality industry, or deepen your knowledge of wine with one of our certificates.
To enroll into classes that do taste comparisons you must be 21 years of age. At this time, the wine classes are offered only in the evenings. In addition to the various WIN classes required, there are several Academic requirements listed within the certificate requirements below.
