Prerequisites (Information updated July 30, 2007)
- Current unencumbered LPN License in the state of Washington.
- A student does not have to take an assessment test if he or she has submitted an official transcript to SSCC listing college-level English 101 and Math 107 with grades of 2.0 or higher. (Read about transferring credits and transcript evaluation.)

Complete the Following Academic Pre-requisite Nursing Requirements
- The minimum acceptable grade for any LPN Coursework or academic pre-requisite course is 2.0
- The minimum cumulative GPA to be awarded the Certificate in Practical Nursing is 2.0
- Students may enroll and take these courses at South (see Steps to Enroll)

All Courses listed below are required for RN Entry
ALL courses must be completed before starting the RN program. Please note that a LPN license with the State of Washington is also required.
