The AAS degrees and certificates available through the Professional and Technical Education Department are designed for individuals who want to prepare for immediate employment. In some cases, the credits you earn for these degrees may be applied toward study at a four year school, but are not generally intended for transfer.

South has articulation agreements with a growing number of colleges. The AAS-T degrees are transferable to these institutions.
