TEST - EMERGENCY MESSAGE - TEST
The Automotive Technology program provides students with up-to-date, technologically advanced training equipment and facilities through the continued support of industry manufacturers and local dealers. The program's advisory committee is made up of industry professionals and provides insight into industry trends, allowing students to learn what will be expected of them in the workplace. Students also have the opportunity to study towards ASE certification while at SSC, which increases student opportunities in the work place.

If you are a South Seattle College staff, faculty or student member and are interested in having your vehicle repaired or maintained through the automotive program you can approach one of the automotive faculty members to see if the students in their class will be able to work on your vehicle. Faculty will determine if the work that needs to be done will enhance the learning experiences needed at that time. If the faculty determine that they are able to work on your vehicle, you will be required to pay the cost of the parts involved in the job.
For information on how your contribution of a recent model car (unless the car has special value the automobile must be less than 10 years old) or up-to-date automotive repair and testing technology could help students learn at South Seattle College, please see our Foundation web pages.
