Psychology is the study of behavior and mental processes. Psychology classes focus on the depth of human action, interaction and emotions through cognitive, biological, behavioral and socio-cultural perspectives.

Description

South offers the first two years of general education needed for a four-year degree in Psychology. Students can also take Psychology (PSYC&) courses to fulfill general educational requirements, for personal enrichment, or to prepare for future study in this field. Many of our professional-technical programs have a Psychology course requirement. Additionally, most nursing and healthcare programs require one or two Psychology courses before applying.
