Description

Students study basic mathematical and scientific principles with an emphasis on problem solving and critical thinking. The curriculum includes a design component consistent with the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) accreditation standards. Credits earned with the AS degree at South Seattle College can be applied toward the first two years of a four-year bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Degree Information

Students wishing to transfer to a four-year university to major in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering should complete the Associate in Science Track 2 Degree. For Engineering students, it is crucial to work with an advisor to plan out your classes, as courses may be only offered once a year and each university has very unique prerequisite coursework.
