Office 365 Now Free for South Students

We’re at the mid-quarter mark and that means it’s time to plan for next quarter! Here's a check-in email to help you track a few important upcoming dates. Use this as a checklist to get a good start on Spring Quarter deadlines.
REMINDER: All college campuses are CLOSED on Thursday, Feb. 8, as all college faculty will be participating in a faculty development day. Additionally, Counseling Services will be closed Feb. 8 so counselors can participate in the development day.
REMINDER: All college campuses are CLOSED on Monday, Feb. 19 for the President's Day Holiday.

  • Search the online class schedule to prepare for Spring Quarter registration.
  • The WSECU Advising Center in RSB 11 is offering same-day appointments the week (February 5-9) before spring registration starts and on the first two weeks of spring registration (Feb. 12-23). Spring Quarter registration begins next Monday, February 12 for returning students and February 20 for new students. You can also book an appointment online or call (206) 934-5387. Hold onto your enrollment form after you meet an advisor and submit it to the Registration Office at RSB 40 during your registration time. You can find your registration time through MySouth or by visiting registration. 
  • If you have a quick question, are in need of an entry code, or are unable to come to campus for an appointment, email AdvisorSouth@seattlecolleges.edu (If requesting an entry code, please include your name, SID, unofficial transcripts, class name, class item number, and section number, ex: ACCT& 202 Item No. 0771, Section: 25).
  • Tuition is due March 5 for previously registered students. Enroll in the FACTS Payment Plan if you can't pay all your tuition upfront!

Bonus Tip: Midterms are coming up and the Tutoring Center has a valuable services available for you! There will be Study Skills Tutoring! Study Skills are methods students use and attitudes they develop so they can learn well and get the grades they want. You can make an appointment to work with a tutor on the topics most important to you and it's free for enrolled South students! Come to RSB 12 to fill out a request form and make an appointment.
