Tuesday Tips from South Seattle's Advising Team

Stay Connected Through Break! This is a time to relax but also prepare for your next steps. Use the break to craft your resume, apply for universities, or gather books for your classes.

  • The Seattle Colleges will be closed Friday, December 21 through Wednesday, December 26 and again on Tuesday, January 1. The colleges will be open on Thursday, December 27, Friday, December 28, and Monday, December 31.
    • If you need help with winter quarter advising, textbook purchases, registration, transcript ordering, tuition payments and other services, please make note of these limited service days and/or use online tools and services. We want to be sure your needs are met and you are ready for classes come January 2!
  • Need to sign-up for classes next quarter? It’s not too late, enroll online or book an advising appointment online today! Sign-up for classes before they get full or canceled! If you can't make it to campus, you can request an entry code for classes by emailing advisorsouth@seattlecolleges.edu. Please include your name, SID, and the class item number found next to the class name on the schedule (Example: ACCT& 201 - 0707.77)
  • Tweet us about your plans for break! @SouthSeattleCC
  • Follow us on our Facebook page to see what South students are up to.
  • Good luck on finals this week and we'll see you in the New Year!

Bonus Tip: Is your student information up to date? Ensure your contact information is accurate with registration and Financial Aid.

Word of the Week: e-Learning — Courses that are a part of our Distance Learning program and usually do not require a campus visit. Occasionally, a course may require a campus visit for an orientation or for a proctored exam.
