Office 365 Now Free for South Students

Happy Independence Day South Seattle Otters, we hope you are enjoying summer! Keep in mind the Summer Quarter deadlines below:

  • The last day to withdraw without a “W” appearing on your transcript is July 6th!
  • The last day to withdraw with 50% refund is July 7th. Check out the Quarterly Calendar for deadlines.
  • Need to get in touch with an instructor? Check out the Faculty Portals!
  • Did you register for Fall Quarter yet? Make an appointment with an Advisor by calling 206-934-5387 or by visiting RSB 11. You can also book an appointment online to find a time that works with you.
  • The Financial Aid deadine for Fall is July 16th! Make an appointment online with Financial Aid if you need assistance!

BONUS TIPS: Check out the different summer tutoring options and times with the links below. The GEEK HAUZ is not going to be open this quarter due to lack of demand.

  • MAST (RSB 18)is open and waiting for students. Our tutors are able to help with all levels of math, statistics, chemistry, and physics.
  • The WALL (RSB 16) will have limited summer hours. Our tutors will help with all levels of basic studies (including basic math) and all levels of reading and writing.
  • Study Skills Tutoring (RSB 16) students will learn how to read efficiently, take notes, study, and stay organized using methods that will help them focus, learn well, and get good grades.
  • The MALL (LIB 215/16) is open to students needing help in developmental math courses. 
  • Writing Center (LIB 205) is providing assistance with research papers and other writing assignments. Students may make an appointment or drop-in for half-hour conferences with tutors.
  • BUS & Accounting Center (OLY 205) is a drop-in center providing assistance with a variety of business and accounting courses.
  • Group Tutoring- is tutoring with professional tutors in small groups. To join, students need to complete a “Request for Tutor” form (available in RSB 12), have their instructor sign it, and return it to the Educational Support Services department in RSB 12.
Online Tutoring—students who cannot meet with tutors during our normal operating hours are invited to explore our E-Tutoring service. Students can contact via email (marianna.asaturova@seattlecolleges.edu) to set up their account.
