South offers resources to help you along your path to earn your degree or certificate. Free workshops covering FAFSA, transfer planning and college and career exploration are available.

  • If you’re applying to a school of Business (Foster at UW or Milgard at UWT), this workshop on November 28th at 1:30 p.m. at the Transfer Center (RSB 66) will help you prepare for the writing skills assessment that all students need to take as part of the application process. We’ll help you prepare!
  • Get help completing your FAFSA and explore program and certificate options at Educational Opportunity Center Friends & Family Day on December 1st from 11am-3:00pm at RSB 66. Bring your friends and family! No appointment necessary!
  • Community Based Organizations (CBO) provide assistance to help guide current and potential students in completing their educational goals. Learn more about this program and answer a few questions on this webpage to see if you may qualify or come to the WorkSource Front Desk, RSB 79.
  • Bonus Tip: Thinking of dropping a class? Not so fast!  Before you do, check with the Financial Aid Office at RSB to learn of the consequences and next steps. Schedule an appointment with Financial Aid here.

Word of the Week: Dean’s List – An academic honor for students who have 10 or more credits/quarter and a 3.5 quarterly GPA.
