Introducing LyndaCampus!

Learn a new skill and discover tips to help you in your professional development with LyndaCampus. LyndaCampus offers hundreds of courses on Microsoft, Adobe, and Apple products, as well as business skills, computer programming and web design, audio and video tools, all taught by professionals in the industry. Access to Lynda is free to all registered South Seattle College students.

Need some extra help paying for college?
The South Seattle College Foundation scholarship application is now open to all current South students!

  • Applications must be completed by October 30, 2017
  • Apply and browse available scholarships in our scholarship database
  • Workshops and one-on-one help available
  • Awards are based on factors such as academic merit, financial need, program of study and community involvement
  • Scholarships can provide up to three quarters of prepaid tuition (not including fees), and can be applied to the Winter 2018 quarter

  • MAST (Math and Science Tutoring Center), RSB 18: Drop-in tutoring is available for math and other science courses. Tutors are able to help with all levels of math, chemistry, physics and many other subjects.
  • WALL (Writing and Learning Lab), RSB 16: Drop-in tutoring help for ABE, GED, ELL and IEP students
  • MALL (Math and Science Learning Lab), LIB 215/16: Drop-in center for students needing assistance in developmental math courses.   
  • GEEK HAUZ, TEC 129: Drop-in center for all computer technology courses. 
  • Writing Center, LIB 205: Drop-in center providing assistance with research papers and other writing assignments.
  • Business and Accounting Center, OLY 203: Drop-in center for business and accounting courses.
  • Group Tutoring: To join a group tutoring session, students may complete a “request for tutor” form, have their instructor sign it and return it to the Tutoring Center.
  • Study Skills Tutoring, RSB 16: Help with reading and studying skills, not-taking and time management.
  • Online Tutoring: Students who cannot meet with tutors during our normal operating hours are invited to explore our e-tutoring services. Students should contact Marianna Asaturova, marianna.asaturova@seattlecolleges.edu, to set up their account.
