Meet the Intensive English Program (IEP) Faculty |

Paul Safstrom, Full-time Instructor psafstro@sccd.ctc.edu
Paul earned his Masters in Education from Seattle University and has certification in ABE/ESL and TESOL. Paul studied in Germany for two years and taught Jr. High School in Mexico for four years. He teaches the core classes for the lower level to include grammar, reading and writing as well as the multi-level, multi-media language lab. "I believe in education for its own sakeāthat education can truly help to free us and make us happy. I also believe that we should be able to enjoy learning. I enjoy teaching, and I want my students to enjoy learning." |

Annette Stofer, Part-time Instructor astofer@sccd.ctc.edu
Annette has a Bachelor of Arts in Textile Design, a Teaching Certificate from the University of Iowa and a Certificate and Advanced Certificate in TESL from the School of TESL at Seattle University. She has lived and taught in both Tunisia and Korea. She specializes in beginning ESL and literacy. Our IEP students will enjoy her history and English support classes. "I love my job because I get to meet a wide variety of people and it is great to see students learn new things and feel excited about education." |
