• The Academic Programs Division offers courses to support the Environmental Studies Degree Option, including GEOL 110, Geology and the Human Environment; ENV 150, Environmental Issues and Problems; ENV 221, Nuclear Choices; HIST 231, Environmental History of the Pacific Northwest; biology; chemistry, economics, anthropology, physics, and engineering.
  • The Division has set a goal to explore ways to include concepts of sustainability in all of their program areas: English, Math, Natural World, Physical World, Individuals and Societies, and Visual, Literary, and Performing Arts.
  • The chemistry sequence has already incorporated 'small chemistry' practices in the lab classes to reduce the use of chemicals by 90%.
