Overview

Students from across the Seattle Colleges District will join for the first time for a combined graduation ceremony on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Safeco Field.

The combined graduation ceremony brings together graduates from all four colleges: South Seattle College, Seattle Central College, North Seattle College, and Seattle Vocational Institute. The larger event space will enable more people to attend and provide better accommodations for parking and accessibility for people with disabilities.

To mark this milestone, this year’s commencement will celebrate the theme “Empowered to Achieve.” The commencement ceremony will begin at 6 p.m.

Students, their families and friends, and South Seattle College employees and community members are all encouraged to attend. Share your South graduation story with us on social media using #southgrad17.
