Admissions Application  

Thank you for your interest in South Seattle Community College. To begin the application process please use our Online Application. An admissions application is not mandatory to attend South. Save time and start the enrollment process right away..

Note: Non-immigrant, international students should NOT use this application. Go to the International Programs web page to learn about that application process.

Admission to SSCC does not guarantee acceptance into certain professional/technical programs that have additional requirements. Also, some programs require specific scores on one of these assessment tests -- ASSET, SLEP, COMPASS. (Learn more about these tests.)

If you are planning to apply for Financial Aid, you should do so as soon as possible. Check with the Financial Aid Office (206-764-5317) for award cycle deadlines.

Who may apply to South? Those students who:

• are at least 18 years of age.
• plan to take classes for college credit.
• have graduated from high school or are a high school senior and expect to enroll for the next academic year.
• have a General Education Development (GED) certificate.
• have not attended SSCC in the past.

• will be attending SSCC while you are still in high school.
• are a non-immigrant, international student. Go to the International Students Web page for application information.
• are interested in any of the following programs. Link to the special instructions for each of these programs:
  Adult Basic Education
  Career Link Academy
  Certified Nursing Assistant
  English as a Second Language
  G.E.D.
  International Students
  Licensed Practical Nurse
  Non-credit Courses
  Running Start
  Worker Retraining
