Hello!

My name is Mark Mitsui, I am the Vice President of Student Services at South Seattle Community College and I hope you find the first edition of our Student Success eNewsletter to be helpful. We share your desire to be successful. One thing we know about successful students is that they take advantage of as many support services as possible. And we have a lot of services for you. This Student Success eNewsletter is designed to connect you with helpful people and programs on our campus and hope this helps you do that.

As always, we are offering free drop-in workshops for all students, staff and faculty. Check out the Library Workshops calendar. This quarter, we have:

We also have a great new search tool: 360 Search. This is available from our databases page, and lets you do a topic search in our catalog and all our databases at the same time!!!  Yes, this is going to be a huge time-saver and a much less complicated search for your students.  Please give this new tool a try and see what you think.  Let us know if you have problems, notice glitches, or need help.
