| Student Right-to-Know Information
In compliance with federal Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act of 1990 (Public Law 101-542) and the applicable Higher Education Amendments, including the Higher Education Reauthorization Act of 1998, it is the policy of South Seattle Community College to make its completion and transfer rates readily available to all current and prospective students.
Please note that the following rates are based on a small cohort of 152 students who matched the following selection criteria:
- attended credit classes full-time (at least 12 credits);
- never attended an institution of higher education prior to Summer or Fall Quarter of 2002
- reported to be seeking a degree or certificate or planned to transfer to a four-year college or university.
Students within this cohort were counted as completers or transfers if they obtained their certificate or degree at South Seattle Community College or successfully transferred to a four-year college or university by August 31, 2008. Consequently, completion rates reported here do not represent the success rates of the entire student population at South Seattle Community College, nor do they account for student achievements occurring beyond the three-year tracking period.
