The Sequoia Grove
About the Arboretum | Arboretum Map | Facilities | Rent the Arboretum

  The Sequoia Grove includes specimens of a giant sequoia, coast redwood and dawn red-wood. These species can reach mature heights of 200 feet or more. The giant sequoia is the most massive tree species and the coast redwood is the tallest species. Dawn redwoods were known to scientists in fossil form before living specimens were discovered in China in 1946.
