13th Year Promise Scholarship - Student Information
Home Donate Statistics Student Information FAQ Timeline
Cleveland & Chief Sealth Students & Families:
The 13th Year Promise Scholarship is not a merit or need based scholarship; students may receive the scholarship regardless of grade point average or family income. Students can receive the scholarship for any credit bearing transfer and technical program, as well as ESL and ABE. As long as students are enrolled full-time in these programs at South Seattle Community College, they may receive the scholarship.
Current seniors from Cleveland and Chief Sealth High Schools are encouraged to apply for the 13th Year Promise Scholarship. The scholarship will cover the remaining tuition balance that financial aid does not cover for up to one year (three quarters).
In Fall 2011, we had 62 Cleveland and Chief Sealth alumni register at South with the 13th Year Scholarship. In addition to the scholarship, our 13th Year Scholars have additional academic resources that are available to ensure their success at SSCC. Take advantage of this unique opportunity that is only available to Cleveland and Chief Sealth seniors!
