The 13th Year Promise Scholarship is now in its fourth year and has provided nearly 50 graduates from Cleveland High School the opportunity to attend South Seattle Community College tuition-free for their first year. As of 2011 the program has expanded to include all graduating seniors from Chief Sealth International High School!
The 13th Year Promise Scholarship program was primarily designed to increase access to higher education for under served students as well as expose high school students to the college environment. The powerful combination of tuition assistance and support services has resulted in an impressive retention rate for the program.
We're excited about our progress with the 13th Year Promise Scholarship thus far - and look forward to working more with students and high schools to increase college preparedness of our incoming students.
The 13th Year Promise Scholarship program would not be possible without the community support and generous donors who have contributed to the program. If you would like to support the 13th Year Promise Scholarship or for more information please contact:
