Testing Records for COMPASS, ESL/COMPASS or GED
Do you need a copy of your COMPASS or ESL/COMPASS test?
Come to Student Assessment Services, in person with photo ID, during office hours, M-F, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. (Note that we close at 12:00 on Fridays during summer months.)
Do you need a copy of your COMPASS or ESL/COMPASS test sent to another school/institution?
Come in person, with photo ID, to Student Assessment Services, RSB 76, during office hours, M-F, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm., or:
- Request for COMPASS score report (PDF). Answer all questions, including a current phone number. FAX to 206-934-6766 or mail to: SSCC, Student Assessment Services, 6000 16th Ave SW, RSB 76, Seattle WA 98106-1499.
Do you need a copy of your COMPASS or ESL/COMPASS, taken at another school, sent to Student Assessment Services?
COMPASS score reports are accepted only directly from the testing center where the test was taken.
- Contact the testing office of the school or institution for THEIR requirements.
- Request that your date of birth and student ID# for South Seattle Community College be attached to the score report so that we can match you to our student database. You must have a student ID# at South for us to record your scores.
- The score report may be FAXed to Student Assessment Services, 206-934-6766, from that office.
Do you need a copy of your GED Certificate?
Complete the Request for GED Transcript/Score Report (PDF). Come to our office, FAX (206-934-6766) or mail (SSCC, Student Assessment Services, 6000 16th Ave SW, RSB 76, Seattle, WA, 98106-1499) to Student Assessment Services. Be sure to include your current phone number so that we may contact you if there is a problem finding your record.
- We will phone you only if there is a problem locating your records; we will mail your GED Score Report within 2 business days to the address on the request form.
- There is currently no fee for this service.
- For GED tests taken after January 1, 2002, we can access a state-wide database for tests taken anywhere in Washington. For some of the pre-2002 GED records, you may need to contact the testing office where you completed your GED.
- For tests taken outside the state of Washington, you must contact that state official GED administrative office. Do an internet search with: “GED test request form (name of state)”. A fee may be charged.
