A current NAC License with the State of Washington.

Prerequisites

All courses listed below are required for LPN entry ALL courses except for Math must be completed before submitting your LPN application. If you are not sure if classes you have taken at other colleges will satisfy our requirements, please contact the Transcript department at 206-934-5829. Adjunct English as a Second Language courses are available for many of the pre-requisites. Contact the ESL Transition Services Coordinator at 206-934-6747 for information.

BIOL& 260	Microbiology	5 credits
PSYC& 200	Developmental Psychology	5 credits
ENGL& 101	English Composition	5 credits
MATH&109	Elementary Statistics (co-requisite)	5 credits

You can substitute higher Statistics classes for MATH&109, but we will no longer accept any other math classes except a statistics course for the math requirement.

Students may apply before they have completed Statistics, but this course must be completed before students can graduate.

The minimum acceptable grade for any pre-requisite course is 2.5.
There is a 7-year time limit on all nursing pre-requisite science courses.
There is a 10-year time limit on all non-science pre- and co-requisites.

Students may enroll and take these courses at South (see Steps to Enroll and Class Schedule)
