South's signature event "Gifts from the Earth" which takes place January 28, 2012, is the can't miss culinary event of the year! This annual event celebrates our students in the Culinary, Wine and Hospitality Programs on campus, as well as the strong partnerships South has with leaders in the hospitality industry. Sixteen celebrity chefs and twenty-two Washington wineries come together to make an evening to remember.
Proceeds from "Gifts from the Earth" benefit the South Seattle Community College Foundation in its mission to provide support for students such as scholarships, program equipment, emergency funding, tutoring and more. Last year "Gifts from the Earth" raised more than $160,000! Please mark you calendar and join us in 2012 for another successful event!
